Hi,
Anyone here tried using the toner transfer method to lay down a black
component legend ? I've been playing around with it and it looks quite
good, especially on lighter colored epoxy board material. The only
difficulty I'm having is getting a good transfer (correct amount of
heat, time, pressure, cleanliness), but that is no different than
transferring to copper for conventional etching. I use photoetching
because it works so much better. Currently I'm trying inkjet glossy
photo paper for toner transfer of component legend. The good thing is it
doesn't need to be an absolute perfect because it is only for looks. One
disidvantage is that solvents cannot be used to clean the board or
you'll loose the toner.
