It sounds like a heat problem. either the iron isn't hot enough or
the xerox toner fuses at a higher temp. I'd bet its the toner. FWIW,
canon PC700 copier toner fuses at what I believe is a slightly higher
temp than HP toner (no controlled study, no manufacturer data, but
anechdotal evidence).
