Hi,
could you please try if toner is cleaned off by ultrasonic?
I try for ages to find someone with a ultrasonic cleaner to test it.
I want to know if the ultrasonic agitation could do any good for speeding
up
etching. But first i must know if the resist (transferred toner in my case)
will be affected.
If it strips the toner with water and detergent then it will not be
possible
to use it while etching. If it works (toner not affected) i will try to
get a unit and try etching in it (in a plastic bag). I'm just curious
about that - i have seen people
using speakers under the etchant to agitate it and i wonder what
ultrasonic would do.
As for your cleaning fluid: i have read often water with detergent works
very well, i don't believe the special fluid is any better. You can try
solvents
like isopropyl alcohol, ammonia, methylated spirits, for "special" dirt
like ink etc.
thanks
