I have had ok success with a clothes iron first, at some point it got
worse.
I'm lazy so instead of troubleshooting it i hooked up the fuser unit.
The results were amazing from the second pcb, the first was fused much too
short. since then i have not had one bad pcb with the fuser.

Well, if you insist on it.
In my opinion a paper holding the toner just barely is no help at all.
the toner will stick good enough that some paper is peeled off with it
with most inkjet paper.

Much more important is heat and uniform pressure.
