I did a 3"X4" 2-layer board drawn with eagle. I had what you might call
a "low yield" process that usually needed touchups. Registration was
done by eye, and I pressed both layers at the same time. I could get
smaller features to transfer sometimes. Text was either patchy or
smeared, but sometimes looked great.
