this is always a problem with laser printers/copiers.
But i think the older the printer and the thicker the paper the worse it
gets.

I can't make any traces 20mil, i get long areas where it actually results
in two parallel lines, with the middle beeing a single long "pinhole".

It is sometimes better, sometimes worse.

This printer always had problems with toner coverage, this is also the
reason why
i have given up on photo process, i can't get a useable transparency.
