But you have 150 pages saved! You actually did the work and
searched the web.

We're bellyaching about those people who find one website or
mailing list and then want someone else to do all their footwork
(fingerwork? mousework?) for them.

Asking "what programs do you suggest to lay out my PCB" or "is an
inkjet good enough to make patterns for photoetching?" are a world
apart from "can you give me a detailed tutorial on making PCBs, I
don't know anything about computers, printing, acid, photoresist,
or safety. BTW, can you design my circuit, too?"

And recently I saw two people on two separate lists ask for
something like that. One wanted someone to post a tutorial on
making a sumorobot from start to finish, he has no experience with
electronics, machinework, programming, etc. He wants the whole
deal. The other wanted a complete tutorial on the operation of
transistors, from the bare transistor to its use in ICs.

I offered links to online tutorials to the 2nd. He didn't say thank
you and as far as I know didn't follow the links.

So you are -not- the kind of person we're bellyaching about. You
want to learn and don't mind doing your own work.

Ask away!
