Another repair shop I know modified a toaster oven , but it will
only accommodate boards up to about 12 inches long.

I dont know why people still opt for poor Chinese products anymore. If u
have to modify it anyhow,
may as well find an old toaster oven at goodwill and modify it. At least the
money stays local here in the USA,
otherwise it goes to China to help produce more junk that occupies all our
landfills.
