Subject: Laminator Toner Transfer DIY Mod. Kit - Apache AL13P AND TRULAM TL-320B

Hi All:
I got the Trulam TL-320B this morning and I am already doing single pass toner transfers with it using my Hackaday mod. kit, which I am now offering @ $24 shipped. Jameco is a bit more expensive with shipping, plus they haven't paid me in about 6 months,  AND they offer no customer support to speak of, esp. when they send incorrectly programmed PIC chips.

Anyway, it turns out the TRULAM laminator is a rebadged AL13P in all respects. Now on Amazon for $99 with free shipping.

I added a couple new EAGLECAD layout designs to accommodate the SMT parts I have in stock. My PCBs will carry an SOIC preprogrammed PIC along with a couple SMT capacitors preinstalled. The thru hole parts will come as loose items.

On the matter of doing kits for other laminators, well I find that the quad silicone rollers with adjustable tensioning and digital controls work very well for regular/daily use. They're built bulletproof with black steel gearing and a 60KTYZ synchronous AC motor, 60KTYZ Synchronous Motor Wire Connection

It's a 14W motor.
