Your double sided board is .062” which seems awful thick to be running through a printer.

Good luck on your experiments.

Subject: [Homebrew_PCBs] Epson R2400 direct pcb printing trouble

Hello everyone,

I'm new to the group, I've also posted something in inkjet printer circuit board printing group and haven't got a response in over two weeks about. Figured I'd give it a shot here. I did try researching the topic to the best of my knowledge, I've search the group and google quite a bit. I got an Epson R2400 and when I try to use 1/16" double sided copper clad board through the rear of the printer, the print head bangs off the sides of the board, slightly prints, smears a lot and makes a grinding noise. I have read about Bazza and Barry Cooper using 1/16" board though from my understanding. They just don't go into much detail with how to do it. I have the paper set to premium semigloss photo paper according to many other forums saying its the thickest, paper option set to roll banner, and maintenance thick paper checked. If I'm miss understanding the previous post or there is anything I'm missing please let me know.

Thank you and I appreciate any advice I may get.
