Subject: Toner removal after etching

From: castle.yankee@...

I just accidentally discovered this and it works great, at least with my toner transfer methods. Perhaps someone else has already discovered this and mentioned it here, but just in case they haven't, I will.

After etching, I can cleanly remove the toner resist with clear packing tape. Lay down a strip of it on the PCB, rub it down a bit with your fingers for good contact with the traces, then pull it off. The toner comes right off with the tape - a "Brazilian waxing" toner removal method.
