Subject: Nice Inkjet Film for the DIY Photoresist Crowd

I came across an inkjet film on Ebay intended for making dye separations for silk screen processes. Since the cost of these films was much less than inkjet transparencies designed for office applications (e.g. overhead projection, et. al) I decided to purchase a pack of 50. The results were spectacular. The ink embeds itself into the film (both sides are smooth, unlike standard inkjet film which prints on the rough side). For all intents, and purposes, the artwork is as solid and almost as opaque as a film from an imagesetter.

If you do photoresist as your pcb fab. technique, you might want to try this stuff. It's Fixxons Waterproof Silk Screen Positive Film. I don't own or work for the company. Tip..make sure to save the package or you wont know which side is the print side, since both sides look identical. The product lists only Epson/Canon/HP printers as compatible.
