Specifically, does anyone have a picture of SMT PCB pads being fluxed with a pen that they could share with a GPL or Creative Commons license? I need one for a presentation.
Long version: So I've been teaching people how to solder for a good long time now. I've documented a lot of stuff on my website at http://techref.massmind.org over the years. I decided to make a presentation to distil and present the basics in a more useable format. You can criticize that here as you like. That lead to my being hired to teach classes at a local maker space. I've never been paid to teach before; I've always just volunteered.
Now that it's commercial, I have to use pictures that are licensed for commercial use in order to protect the Maker Space from lawsuit. Guess how many pictures of soldering are available with open source licenses? Not many.
I don't use a flux pen (I just brush it on from a bottle) and I could really use a photos like this, but with an open source license. (I've found a picture of a pen alone, but not one being applied to a PCB like this, where you can see what the point is).
