Subject: Cheap chinese toner transfer sheet

From: Kerry Koppert <kkoppert@...>
Date: 2013-07-15

I have purchased some cheap toner transfer sheet off ebay
http://www.ebay.com/itm/A4-10Pcs-Sheets-Heat-Toner-Transfer-Paper-For-DIY-PCB-Electronic-Prototype-Mak-/170900415631?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item27ca75648f
.. It appears to be a plastic sheet backed with paper. There are NO
instructions (the on line instructions refer to photoresist paint)..
Similar materials sold by other sellers have instructions written in
Chinglish

∗ Usage:1 circuit board with a laser printer to print to the circuit
diagram of the smooth thermal transfer paper.
∗ 2Raised with the laminator between 150-180 degrees Celsius, the heat
transfer printed circuit side of the paper deposited in the Bonded
Copper on the transfer; the system can also be used instead of iron
plate machine, hand transfer.
∗ 3 Remove the transfer paper after printing, the Bonded into the
ferric chloride solution to corrosion.
∗ 4 Finally, remove the circuit board using toner.

There appear to be two conflicting sets of instructions
1) Press at high temperature for 90 seconds
2) Press at low temperature for 10 seconds

If I try one set of instructions the pastic adheres to the circuit
board. Using the other set nothing adheres (no plastic, no toner).

Does anyone have clearer instructions.
