Hi everyone!
I have some PCB making/assembly equipment I'm looking to sell. I hope this is the right venue for it. I learned a ton about PCB's over the years by making my own, but with all of these new batch prototype PCB services, I don't have the time or resources to continue making them myself. I'm eternally grateful to the homebrew PCB making group, but it's time for me to move on.
Here's what I have:
∗ Vertical etching tank. I built this out of polycarbonate. It has an airstone along the bottom, along with some tubing and an aquarium pump for aeration/agitation. $20 o.b.o. + shipping
∗ Almost-working reflow toaster oven. I built this from a brand new toaster oven and a TechFX reflow oven controller. I believe TechFX has gone AWOL, but the software for their controller is still floating around somewhere online. Alternatively, you could write your own firmware since the controller uses a generic PIC microcontroller and the circuit seems pretty simple. I used this about two times, and then then SSR failed. Since then, I removed the thermocouple for another project, but everything else is intact. The SSR, controller, and a smaller power supply are all tucked inside a plastic enclosure mounted on the side of the oven. $20 o.b.o. + shipping
∗ Darkroom light and switch. I built this to accommodate a photoexposure box. It's basically a junction box with two outlets and a switch. You plug it into any standard socket, then you plug the darkroom light in one outlet and the photoexposure box in the other. I wired it so the darkroom light (just a red light bulb) is only on when the photoexposure box is off, and vice versa. $5 o.b.o. + shipping
∗ Miscellaneous chemicals. I have two bottles of hydrogen peroxide(H2O2), one unopened jar of "100% lye" drain cleaner (NaOH), and one unopened bottle of MG Chemicals photoresist developer. The hydrogen peroxide is your garden variety drugstore peroxide, but I thought I would list them here because I don't have a use for them anymore. For obvious reasons, I can only ship these by FedEx or UPS ground. $10 o.b.o. + shipping
I'm not really looking to turn a profit. I mainly want to see these things go to good homes where they'll be used -- though it would be nice to recoup just a small fraction of the investment.
Thanks and take care,
