There is a Japanese site selling a version
of the old Multicore Copperset through hole
system.

I found it 6 month ago but can not find it now.

Does anyone have a link?

They are little copper bails filled with solder
that have score marks around the outside at
a little bit over 1.6mm. You insert a bail
in your hole. Snap it off. Then squish it
with an automatic punch.

Unlike some of the other eyelet systems they
are a hole you can solder a leaded component
in. They are also 100% flush with the PCB
so you can put them under surface mount ICs
without a problem.
