Hi Everyone,
Donald, what you do is either with a timing, V, friction belt and pulley's you connect them.
You mount the shank and at the top put a small pulley and then offset mount the motor and put a larger pulley on and then put a belt on the pulley's and you have it.
You don't want to mount the motor directly to the shank because of the vibrations and axial offset you have.
If you really have to stick to your guns about direct mount then I suggest a spider shaft coupler, the rubber center piece of the couple will allow for slight axial deviation and will absorb some vibration.
Any other questions let me know, I'm working on my spray etcher, I finally got my acid pump, stainless steel cartridge heater for the inline acid heater reservoir and have all the parts need so it's gluing, cutting, fitting and screaming time.
Best Regards,
Kevin I.

Hi, Kevin.
That link worked OK for me. I'm not seeing how to attach one of those to the motor, though.
Donald.
