am using pcb artist to design my very 1st pcb. if am designing an one-sided board, using thru-hole components (cause thats what i already have), do i need to 'solder mask' each side? do i need to use the solder mask at all if i use thru-hole components only? which is preferable, a 2-sided smaller pcb or an one-sided larger pcb?
