Shannon is correct, once you have made you initial alignment, without a PCB in place, i.e. just looking at the drill bit through the drill stands base plate hole, getting the cross hairs matching up with the tip of the drill bit,and the frame secured, it will remain aligned, you then move the PCB around to line up the Pad with the cross hairs, the bit will drill at exactly that point every time. great web site by the way, plenty of interesting projects!!
