Please, Word is for sure no proper imaging tool.
And powerpoint in my opinion also not.
There are free image processing tools.
One quick solution may be to use irfanview and "create panorama image".
But if you want to spend some money try paint shop pro (jasc software).
they have a 30 or 60 days trial. no idea if it supports fast panelizing..
(i think print multiple images lets you do this quick).
I'm sure corel draw offers such things too, but is expensive i think.
psp is a very good software.
of course you can use any image editor to paste the pcb in an empty bigger
new image, side by side.
(maybe there came one with your scanner, printer or pc?)
(i suggest using the original one piece pcb, adding border to the right of
the image with (add space here)
then paste the image to the space. then take this two images and duplicate
them again to get 4.
result: nice arranged, store complete panel as image file for reuse.
also consider staying entirely with vector graphics. this is better for pcb
artwork.
or at least use the printers resolution (or multiple).
