Sulfuric acid is battery acid, and should be readily available. I even purchased some from a pool supply store once for use in reducing pH in swimming pools. Be aware that Muriatic acid (hydrochloric acid) is more commonly used for this purpose. You might be able to purchase from a scientific supply store if you have one in your area. I was able to buy Nitric acid from such a store in Denver, and I think they would have Sulphiric acid as well. Another possible source would be local metal plating shops.
