Hi all, I wanted to let everyone know there is a really good deal on what's probably the best quality desktop laminator available under $2,000 anywhere today. I got really lucky somehow finding this and there are just a few left if anyone is looking for a high quality laminator.

Just before New Year's I spotted a Brand New In Original Box GMP Photonex-Sync235 on eBay for $399. I submitted an offer of $145 guessing there would be no way I would get it but what the heck I gave it a shot. My offer was declined immediately, probably because settings automatically rejected any offer below a preset amount. Then to my surprise just after New Years I received a message from the eBay seller telling me they would be happy to accept my offer if I would just resubmit the offer they would adjust the settings to accept. No go, I tried and then sent a message explaining that it didn't work, they replied that they had changed the settigs and to try again, so I did, submitting my 3rd and final (by ebay rules) offer of $145. Again it did not work, automatically rejecting my offer. The seller appoligized and sent me a link to a private auction for the item to "buy it now" at the same $145 I had offered. That worked and I got my new laminator! It is microprocessor controlled with 4 internally heated silicon rollers, and is almost non existant on websites in the US, it is the 9 1/2" model that Bungard and Mega sell for $899 (£550), along with the 13" Photonex-Sync325 model going for over $2,000! (Note: this is the smaller 9" 235 model, wide enough for small to medium size circuit boards) Very heavy with a sparkling silver finish with illuminated keypad!
I told my friend about it and he asked if there were any more, I checked and was able to purchase another for $149, both times the shipping was $20 UPS. They have a quantity of 8 left, brand new ans the listing I see is still $149!!! That's got to be better than wholesale pricing and if I had a warehouse I might attempt to buy the remaining stock for resale, but I have my one laminator for personal use, hobby printed circuit boards so here's the item number on eBay:

Enjoy!

Maybe karma will bring me a great deal on a new vacuum UV box or small drill press from someone out there who knows of a similar opportunity?
