OK .. not really sure that is whats going on here..
But its the subject line used before ..
Update..
Was making a HV Power Supply Capacitor board..
Some minor flaws in the toner .. So I used a permanant
maker to fill in .
When I have done that in the past. Seemed like etchant
still seemed to get thru .. I even let it dry and reapplied.
OK .. with the Cap board.. I did the same steps but in
addition to it .. baked the board at around 250 degrees ..
for about 30 minutes ..
Etched and there was absolutely NO signs of the etchant
getting thru the marker ink. In fact, those areas looked
just as good as the toner covered areas.. I think I also
applied the marker one more time after the bake and
the board was cooled.
Soak time was about 10 minutes..
Soo .. for what all that is worth .. :)
