Just curious, how is that better than wiping with a paper towel? Don't
you use more solvent that way and end up with a dirty pan?

I use MEK (that's what I happen to have on hand) and a paper towel.
The first pass gets off most of the toner in seconds, and a second
pass cleans the board totally.
