Hi Peter,
I haven’t used the machine for which you collect opinions, but from the links, I can say it has some strong disadvantages:
- There is no depth limiter or any depth control system, which is especially important for engraving in case of using V tools;
- The dust from the milling is very unhealthy. This machine has no debris collection system;
- It looks like the spindle has high runout, which makes me think that the precision will not be sufficient even for 16/16mil.
About one year ago I bought a machine from accuratecnc. The model is A360. You can find more information here – www.accuratecnc.com/A360.html. I am really very satisfied – I am using it to make double side PCBs, stencils and front panels.
Best Regards,
