I have seen a few of these types of milling and drilling machines over the years and I am considering buying one for simple single sided "mother-boards" to plug various modules into. Being able to rapidly prototype pcbs will put the fun and productivity back into prototyping.

BTW, one of my first jobs in electronics I had to design and make pcbs from scratch. A Dalo resist pen, metho, ferric chloride, infra-red lamp, agitator etc and presto, more or less instant pcbs.
Later on I also made a few with those precoated laminates at home. Then when laser printers first came out in the 80's I was printing directly onto transparencies and passing that on to the film place for working negs which were passed on to the pcb house.
So, not quite homebrew in the true sense but I'm certainly willing to dabble.
