Subject: Which method to use?

I have boards created using pre-sensitized positive developed and negative sensitized methods. Both offer very good resolution giving me great results using thin lines. I have tried using a toner transfer method using gloss paper through a laser printer, but have failed because of not being able to adequately get the toner to transfer well. Using an iron is just too iffy as compared with the more commercial approaches. What I haven't tried are some of the dedicated transfer papers, but am reluctant to do so because of the marginal transfers I've previously experienced. Concept is great, execution, well, not so good. What else should I try? Please understand that a majority of my work involves mssop's, soic's etc. I need fine lines.
