Kapton tape should work. e.g.

I just bought a PL100 laminator and some HammerMill Color Laser Gloss paper. I have been tapping the pattern to the board with various types of tape and removing them after a few passes to ensure equal heat transfer but they all leave a sticky residue on the back of the pattern. Because of the glue left behind, the pattern sticks to the carrier paper and tends to lift the pattern off the board slightly when i rotate the board. Has anyone found a good tape to use that can withstand the heat of a laminator without leaving glue behind. I have tried the duck brand scotch tape and some tape made by fisher scientific. This isnt a huge problem, my transfer was the best ive ever had, but the transfer wasnt entirly complete on the edge that had the glue residue (paper lifted off pulling on the traces). I was thinking masking tape or some of the blue painters tape might be good.
