Surely you use solid-carbide PCB-drill-bits? When they break, SAVE the
shanks, and GRIND an "etching bit" on the tip! (use a diamond-grit wheel).
If you can home-brew a CNC router, you can SURELY grind the tip of a
carbide "blank"!
