I use gEDA gschem on Linux for the schematic and then FreePCB on
WinDoz for the PCB.
IIRC you have to manually change the first line of the gschem netlist
to "∗PADS-PCB∗" (without the quotes) for FreePCB to recognize it. I
don't use netlists as I haven't synched a few of the gschem and
FreePCB symbols.
