Chlorine gas is toxic. I don't know the LD50 but I don't want to find out the hard way either. I've got a fume hood and vent, just a simple bathroom vent fan and some flexible aluminum foil ductwork.
Copper salts are toxic if ingested, so don't drink your etchant either ;-)
