Sounds like a country to country difference here. IMHO, each country gets
overly paranoid about different things. Typically due to something that has
happened in their history that may cause 'regulations' to be put into place
to protect the public (often from themselves, at least in the USA).
This from a native Texan who is still trying to get used to the differences of
living in Tennessee. I have been in TN for only 4, almost 5, years now.
Nation to nation differences are bigger yet!
