Subject: Re: GBC H425 laminator question

This laminator is a GBC Heatseal H425, it has a variable temperature setting knob that is graduated from 0 to 9 according to a laminating pouches thickness chart, but nowhere is indicated to what actual temperatures those numbers correspond. Thus I wrote to GBC asking for that info and eventually got the answer as posted above.
I opened the cover, and found that it has 4 spring mounted rollers, first two are heated, the springs can be adjusted and the gears are metal, plus the temperature is electronically regulated, so I am very happy with it.
Will do some tests as soon as possible.
