Stefan,
Because I use the 'scratch' method, I don't plot the actual traces.
Instead, I use a custom written ULP from Eagle to generate the HPGL output
for the top and bottom sides of the board. Then I use a program that
post-processes the HPGL from there and then sends it to the plotter. In this
post-processing program I suck in the drill file and add filled circles to
the middle of each hole so as to etch away the copper in the middle of each
drill hole. So that's the method I use.
