Hi CJ,

I've been using a cheap Samsung ML-2010 ($60) for a couple of years now. It
works well with Staples photo paper. There are newer models now.

If you don't abuse the drum too much, it is easily refilled with 3rd party
toner. I think I paid $5 for a toner refill.
