There is some information there on wirebonders. The moderator
refurbished a wire bonder and has some information posted.

I have often thought about the same thing. The transducer from a sonic
cleaner might work for the ultrasonic source. Scratch building a
bonder would take a lot of effort and experimentation to get it to work.
