Thanks for the info! I actually tried printing off a bunch of layouts
this morning using the printer and have found that it is more
'forgivable' than my previous HP deskjet in that it will accept
various thicknesses better without getting all 'bunged up'- I had to
tape the transfer paper to a regular sheet and feed it through like
that- it worked out just fine! I still need to do the iron on transfer
but will do so later.
One thing that is giving some problem is that the printer I used is a
work printer, attached to machines which are not able to have software
installed- so no eagle on these machines! My alternative was to
download Primo PDF and print to file at home on my dev box to a disk,
take it to the work machines and use the already installed Acrobat to
interpret and send to printer. While this is effecitive to a degree, I
am finding that there are minute differences in the printed layout as
opposed to other examples I have at home which were printed directly
from Eagle to paper. The variation is very small, but will pose
serious problems in SMT components. Thru hole I could likely work
around- but this is unacceptable in general so I need help with
it--many others have used this software with success so I think I am
just doing something in err, something stupid no doubt! Ideas???

PS for the UV development process I am just going to have to try
using paper for now as my Deskjet gave up the ghost over the weekend
and I doubt that the work printer would work correctly with the
transparencies I have--melters...jd
