bucks,, right now I have 0 so will have to use what I can salvage from
free sources-- using magazine papaer never occurred to me, perhaps
I'll give that a go! The biggest issues for me have been
1- transfer moves too much due to large amount of material in transfer
paper,, no matter what I try to do to prevent, happens without fail!
2, transfer doesn't apply to PCB properly, is too faded for use or
just have no transfer qualities period!,, I acxtually rather have this
type of failure as it is easier to clean up for a re-try!
thanks again, I'll have to do some experiements-- wonder, with the
zine paper, do they just use a piece that is as blank as possible or
what??
I have most parts of a IR development setup but still need to get the
layout to an appropriate medium for transfer. I have heard that
printing to light stock paper will work as fine as using
transparencies,,,any input on that? How about using sunlight to make
the transfer to PCB rather than IR LED's or whatever else is mostly
used? I have sunlight (duh) but not enough LED's to make a lightbox or
even a valid source! I also have a fluorecent 4foot fixture with one
'red' and one 'blue ' tube in it, I wonder if they would produce
enough IR light to do the deed? One way to check,,,but cannot afford
the mistake.
