Subject: Has anyone tried an Ironing Press instead of an iron to transfer laser toner?

I've been having some bad results with my present procedure to transfer
toner using the old iron method, and this is even with the blue peel
stuff.

I have been thinking of purchasing an ironing press a Conair (~$90) or
even a more expensive one like a Simplicity (~$150) which can add up
100lbs of pressure.

I have also consider on buying a laminator but the size of the boards
I have going are 6x6 inches at a minumum and going through a laminator
8 to 10 times with a thickness of 60 mils may end up screwing up the
laminator. The wife has bought into the idea of a more expensive
ironing press, since she could also use it.

Does anyone have any comments in the pros and cons on using an ironing
press for toner transfer?

Thanks for any feedback.
