Food coloring: good. I'll try it, too.

Pigmented inkjet inks are fine just so they'll go through an inkjet
nozzle. Regular painting pigments are much larger grained.

So far my old clogged Canon cartridge is not cleaning up. I may have
to sacrifice one of the newer working ones.
