1.5". It's not glass BTW, it's non-UV blocking plexiglass.

They are 18" 15W tubes.

Some notes:

1. Use a contact frame instead of weights especially when using
something like plexiglass instead of real glass and especially in
the absence of collimation.

2. If using plexiglass, make sure it's the type that doesn't block
UV rays.
