Subject: curing/soldering oven

Yesterday was looking at the small ovens in the attic i planned to use for
the curing/soldering oven.
Well, let's just say they were much better suited in my imagination than
in real life.

But today in the post i found
<http://www.hofer.at/images/data_product/148063064944d1b3fb8b873.jpg>
offered for 18,99eur.
I'm willing to spend that to avoid those other unsuitable ovens.
It says 1200 Watts, 9 liters, 4 heaters, and a thermostat to 240C. I think
the thermostat will want replacing with a more accurate electronic
version. I could possibly add heaters almost double the wattage if i have
to.

So what do you think?

Has one of you built an oven?

Will i need a small metal fan or something to distribute the heat better?

How much heating is done by radiation here and how much by conduction
through the air?
