I prefer the cucl be made with dilute hcl and scap copper and hyrogen
peroxide 3% from the drug store. start off slow speeds up as th copper
ions make a green solution if the ecthant turns muddy color from use
the peroxide returns it to bright green . air bubbles cause splatter and
cool the solution. i didnt have any luck with air bubbles converting
from muddy to bright green , peroxide is instant. in an australia
electronics mag.
it was sugested to attach a carbon rod with insulated wire ot the etching
board and place in contact with the solution claimed to increase the
speed of etch. i havent tried it out yet . what if using a battery the
pc board positive and scap copper negative rejuvinating the etchant as
you etch your board. a hygrometer is a weight in a tube of air with a
calibrated scale submerged partly maybe you can inprovise something. just
some comments to stimulate experimentation thanks luther
