You can move the chip from the new cartridge to the Epson Durabrite.

There is a very good chance the aftermarket is dye ink. You might
check, though, before swapping chips.

And MAKE SURE THE CHIP IS INSTALLED BEFORE PLUGGING THE CARTRIDGE IN!!!!

If the chip is not on securely and falls off, the wire contacts will
catch on the edge of the depression where the chip was, and break off
when you remove the cartridge.
