Hi All,
I dug out a C42ux I was given recently, and in the
interests of science, I removed the housing and the
paper feeder. (You have to press in the right places).
Nothing else fell off, so I examined the feed system.
It is possible to make and mount a flat tray and
attach it to the rear in order to feed raw pcb.
The paper detector is correctly located for flat pcb
feeding, and the pressure rollers will just cope with
1.6 mm pcb, although it may be necessary to ensure
that the pcb does not bridge the segmented roller
system, but there is quite a lot of latitude. I may
have to oust the paper feeder roller itself though.
I am assuming I can use this magic ink in the
cartridge/head since from the spec it seems to be a
Micro-Piezo type.
How do I flush the system of the old ink, once I can
get my hands on some of this specified ink?
Roger
