Laser and copier transparencies will work in LaserJets, won't work
well in inkjet printers.
I have used inkjet transparencies in an HP laser (I think it was
8xxx series), Xerox copiers, and Lexmark Optra E+ with no
melting/distortion problems. Copier output never worked well for
me, but it might have been a toner issue. Now I use my Lexmark with
a refilled toner cartridge exclusively.
