Hi Daryl,
I started using Eagle CAD because (1) it runs on both linux and
Windows and (2) the price was good (free for a limited size board).
(The only other CAD program I used was OrCAD.) Anyway, I came to
love Eagle CAD after learning how to use it. There is also a Yahoo
Users' Group for it called eaglecad.
Although my experience is limited, I must say I really, really like
CAD. Maybe I'm just displaying my ignorance, but that's how I feel
right now.
