Archive of the former Yahoo!Groups mailing list: Homebrew PCBs

Has anyone ever seen one of these close up?
I've read they can print on metal surfaces, but do they produce a
continous layer?

They have "tapes" with resin on them, similar to the wax printers, but a
little different.
A bit like a dot matrix for photos.
