I repeat this message Yahoo told me had bounced:

Can I conclude, from the lack of choices for 1/8" shank center drills
or countersinks, that center drilling the itty-bitty PCB holes isn't
popular practice?<<
It is simply not done! The speed (RPM), stiffness, and proper use of
carbide PCB drill-bits preclude the need for "center-drilling". But
the paucity of of center- or countersink-drill bits of carbide with
1/8" shanks should not be taken as any indicator of that.
Too dumb a question to bother answering?<<
We ALL hadda start SOMEwhere, so I'd hesitate to call it a "dumb
question!" That's what this site is all about, beginning dummies
asking slightly more experienced dummies useful questions. Often,
just reading the responses to OTHER's questions is enough to answer
any a member might first have. When not, ASK!

Lotsa luck! Remember, a carbide PCB drill bit can NOT be used in a
hand-held motor-tool such as a Dremel! Some reasonably-decent-
precision drill-PRESS is a must!
