I just found an old DW 8000 on Craig's List and the lady couldn't get it working anymore so let it go for 80 bucks -- thanks to the wonderful resources available at dw8000.com I was able to get the original presets uploaded and everything cleaned up and now it's hummin right along.
I've been researching quite a bit and have been curious about the "angel city mod" that now seems to be available from musitronics (
http://musitronics.de/musitronics.org/products/dw8000_ex_e.html ) for 78 euro (about 100 bucks right now) .. has anyone dealt with this company or this mod? Is this a circuit board that I install myself? I'm having trouble finding specific info so I'm wondering if any of you have done this .. the wikipedia article was just updated with info on this mod today so I guess it's a current phenomenon. Any info would be helpful!!
